It is of interest to health workers, policy makers, journalists, researchers, donor organisations, medical insurance and pharmaceutical companies, civil society organisations and consultants. The HST Bulletin contains new research findings, news items relevant to health systems development and policy and practice in Southern Africa. It lists new publications, conferences, job opportunities, resources, training courses and other events.
News topics include among others: HIV/AIDS (every issue), Malaria, TB, equity, health economics and legislation, drug information and other public health issues.
HST Bulletin will keep you updated on health issues in Southern Africa and has been especially designed for colleagues in countries without access to interactive internet tools. The Bulletin can be accessed by offline, ordinary e-mail messages.
Averaging seven to eight pages of concise yet informative articles, with hyperlinks to the full story on the HST website, it gives a quick yet informative glance at the weeks issues occurring in, or affecting health systems in Southern Africa. Currently about 1400 subscribers receive an issue every second Friday as an ordinary text e-mail.
